In the event that it is necessary to close or delay the opening of our schools because of inclement weather or other circumstances, school cancellation information may be accessed by tuning in to certain radio and television stations (see below). Students should not come to school if the schools are closed. If school is open on a snowy day, please have a plan ready in case we must dismiss students early.
The Acushnet Public Schools also utilizes a call alert system to announce school cancellation information. We also use this call alert system to provide parents/guardians with information regarding important events (such as report card dissemination and graduation dates) and unanticipated events (such as unplanned school closings).

I am honored to be your Principal. With more than 15 years of experience as a middle school Spanish teacher and Assistant Principal, it is a pleasure to serve our learning community and contribute to a successful school year in every way I can.
My husband and I are the proud parents of two very special boys, Matthew and Joseph. They keep us very busy with their many school activities, baseball teams and soccer teams.
I am looking forward many years full of learning opportunities and academic growth. It is my belief that in order to educate our students it takes a community with a strong desire to achieve. Our teachers, administrators and staff are committed to the success of all of our students. We also recognize the important role of our parents. I invite you to be involved in your child’s education and stay in contact with your child’s teacher throughout the year . Every parent, grandparent and family member has an important role in making our school a success.
Please feel free to call or email me with any questions, problems or concerns.
